Capresso Iced Tea Maker

Oct 09, 2014 | Rita

Capresso Iced Tea Maker

This Southern gal loves her some iced tea! In fact if you were to come to my home at any given time you would find a pitcher of it in the fridge. We may run out of milk but we never run out of tea. I actually put a little more sugar in mine than most so I always have two different versions ready, the one I drink and the one everyone else drinks. I can’t help it I have always been that way. The one thing that drives me crazy though is having to make it. My uncle makes occasionally it but he forgets and it will boil over if I don’t pay attention. That is why I was thrilled when we were sent the Capresso Iced Tea Maker for review!

I can put the tea bags in this, the ice, and the water then walk away. It will make itself and I don’t have to worry about anything spilling over at all. The pitcher is glass so you have to be a bit careful but to be honest that is something I love about it. The pitcher is very well made and recently when I had a ladies luncheon I was more than pleased that I was able to use it. It made things look better than just the plain old plastic pitcher that sits in the fridge most of the time. Since I knew I would need a full pitcher of just tea for this lunch I  actually didn’t put any ice in the pitcher and simply made a few pitchers (meaning when the brewing stopped, I put in a new tea bag and added more water.) The pitcher has an easy more lid that fits over it.

Another great feature is the flavor enchancer where you can select how strong you want your tea brewed. My uncle loves super strong, spoon stand up in it tea while I like something a little milder. The water tank is removable to make it easy to fill and their is a permanent removable filter so you can brew either loose tea or tea bags. Not to mention an automatic shutoff so you can just set it to brew then go about your business! I can’t tell you how much of a difference this has made in my house.

Capresso has more than just a fabulous iced tea maker! They have milk frothers, espresso makers, and more. Be sure to check them out to find the product that will make your life easier!
