If you have been following me for a while then you already know how much I love bags of all sorts. If you are a new follower then I must confess my bag fetish is a serious one. I am talking the need for a twelve-step program one. I can’t seem to help it and when I find a bag I like then I will use that thing until it falls apart. It also doesn’t take me long to just know that a bag and I are made for each other and that is why I just knew that the Carry Hope bag from Esperos Bags was going to be my new favorite.
About Esperos Bags:
Oliver started Esperos three years ago after spending some time doing humanitarian and mission work in Central America. It was a simple idea: sell backpacks and use the money to help fund education for children in the developing world. Although Esperos has grown and their product line has evolved, their heart is still the same: make stylish, durable products and help impact education worldwide.
I received the Carry Hope bag in Flax although there are six different color choices total. This is a market tote and I will tell you that it is one of the well constructed market totes I have ever had the pleasure of using. It measures out as 14″ H x 14″ W x 5″ D and is made of Durable 16 oz. Cotton Duck Canvas. Now I don’t know about all of that because I’m going to be honest and tell you that I don’t care about all of that. I care about the fact that it is sturdy and fits well on my shoulder. The straps don’t cut into my shoulder the way some do.
I really love the inside little zip pocket because you can attach it to either side. I know that some people don’t care about that sort of thing but I do because I have OCD and the little pocket really has to go on the side closest to my body. Don’t ask why because I already know that it makes no sense but there you go. I honestly do love that this snaps off easily because when I use this tote at the Saturday Market I keep my money, driver’s license, and such in there. Then when I stop at the next place on my errand list I simply pull the pocket off and take it in with me without having to carry my purse and a bunch of other stuff. It makes everything much easier. 🙂
