We are no strangers to Cate and Levi around here. In fact they were one of the very first companies I ever worked with. If you are not familiar with them let me acquaint you.Cate and Levi make wool puppets and other items like clothing, bags, and stuffed animals. All items are handmade in Toronto, Canada which means no two are alike and all materials used are sourced as close to their studio as possible and made from reclaimed wool.
They sent us this fabulous Duck Puppet to review and just like our last one we are loving him. I mean rally what is not to love? The kids are only limited by their imaginations when they play with him as are we when we play with the kids. What better toy to give your children?
He is very soft to the touch and while no he doesn’t look just like the one on the site because remember each one is unique which means no two are alike. I love that! I love that my children get a toy that is not the same as every other toy. Not to mention that buy playing with our Cate and Levi puppets we are doing are part to help lessen our carbon footprint.

These are so stinkin’ cute! I tried to make sock puppets with my girls but the results were underwhelming. Love to encourage puppet play, though. It’s so good for the imagination!

I wasn’t aware of Cate & Levi, but I just checked out their site and was happily surprised to discover all the cute and creative items, from puppets to bags and necklaces to children’s outerwear! It’s all very adorable! I love the variety of puppets; so many to choose from and like you said, not one alike! I appreciate that the company uses local and reclaimed wool and everything is handmade.

Those are adorable. I just love toys that help kids use their imagination. Not to mention that it is good interactive play for the kids and adults.
I love when companies do their part to reuse, reduce or recycle, personally I am a huge RRR-er. It is great that no two are alike: sometimes cookie cutter toys get boring. Now if I could just get my 23 month old to not be afraid of puppets! (she has been slow to like them which is a bummer since her grandma and grandpa made her a whole puppet studio and a few puppets for her upcoming Birthday)
What a great toy! My daughter loved puppets when she was younger. I wish I would have found a company like Cate and Levi back then. I try to purchase products from companies that are eco friendly. I also like that no two are exactly the same.
That’s very cool that these are handmade. Not many toys are made by hand and promote playing using your imagination; what a great idea. Our family was very big so we couldn’t really afford too many toys so we had to use things around the house which I feel really enhanced our imaginative play. More toys should be like this now, not all video games which really leave very little room for the imagination.

I really like that these are hand made in Canada. That way yours is unique, well made, and safe. I like knowing where my products are coming from, and kids will enjoy knowing theirs is different from everyone else’s.
