I just learned this morning that a blogger who I knew was tragically murdered along with her 14 year old son. Bloggers tend to have a very tight knit community. I knew Chris K from Adventures of a Thrifty Mama and even though I never actually met her in person I genuinely liked her.

This year I have been searching for new ways to countdown the advent. After some searching on Pinterest I discovered a couple if great ways. I love this idea of books wrapped and placed in a late bucket. The kids pick a book each night, open it and that is the book that is read.
