Until I met my hubby I never celebrated Three Kings Day, or Reyes Magos, which took place on January 6th. The idea of the day is that kids are usually given gifts in honor of the three kings that brought gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh for the sweet Baby Jesus. There are a lot of Mexican traditions that go along with it and we usually have a great time with it.
This year our kids did get gifts but we celebrated it with my brothers and their families as well sort of like a late Christmas. We had such a great time and thanks to Net10 Wireless we were able to tweet, take pictures and the older kids were able to completely ignore us! While we tried to play games as a family they discovered the games on my Net10 phone and wouldn’t give it up!
Honestly all in all it was such a wonderful day and I really loved that hubby could text pictures to his parents in Mexico without costing us an arm and a leg. Net10 Wireless makes having a phone simple and easy because you are in charge. Mexico is just one of the over 100 countries that you can call with an unlimited plan. With a Net10 Family I can have two phones ($50 for the first and $40 for the second) for half the price of my old contract company. As you can see the kids had a blast taking pictures (they aren’t the best picture takers in the world but the day was all about them)with the phones as well. It was also one of the warmer days for us which meant shorts and short sleeves (gotta love the crazy weather!)
Buying Net10 Wireless phones and airtime cards is easy, too. They’re available at 90,000 locations across the USA, including Walmart, Best Buy, Target, Family Dollar, K-Mart, Radio Shack and CVS stores and online at Net10wireless.com (English) and in Spanish. You can get social with Net10 Latino on Facebook for more information.
Net10 Wireless and Latina Mom Bloggers invite you to join us for “Make this Year a Perfect 10” Twitter Party on Tuesday, January 22nd from 9-10:30pm ET. We’ll be sharing our goals for the New Year and best of all – tips on how to KEEP THEM! Of course, there will be prizes too! We’ll be giving away Samsung Galaxy tablets and Visa gift cards. I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
