Celebrating Reyes Magos with #Net10Latino

Jan 17, 2013 | Rita

Net10 Wireless

Until I met my hubby I never celebrated Three Kings Day, or Reyes Magos, which took place on January 6th. The idea of the day is that kids are usually given gifts in honor of the three kings that brought gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh for the sweet Baby Jesus. There are a lot of Mexican traditions that go along with it and we usually have a great time with it.

This year our kids did get gifts but we celebrated it with my brothers and their families as well sort of like a late Christmas.  We had such a great time and thanks to Net10 Wireless we were able to tweet, take pictures  and the older kids were able to completely ignore us! While we tried to play games as a family they discovered the games on my Net10 phone and wouldn’t give it up!

Honestly all in all it was such a wonderful day and I really loved that hubby could text pictures to his parents in Mexico without costing us an arm and a leg. Net10 Wireless makes having a phone simple and easy because you are in charge. Mexico is just one of the over 100 countries that you can call with an unlimited plan. With a Net10 Family  I can have two phones ($50 for the first and $40 for the second) for half the price of my old contract company. As you can see the kids had a blast taking pictures (they aren’t the best picture takers in the world but the day was all about them)with the phones as well. It was also one of the warmer days for us which meant shorts and short sleeves (gotta love the crazy weather!)
