I know that statement sounds so crazy but it true. There is something about the scent of Chamomile that always makes me think about my Grandmother and that is comforting in a way to me. I think it is actually more of a scent memory than anything else. She used to drink Chamomile tea and we had it together from time to time. Now Charmin with the scent of Chamomile graces my bathroom  as if I needed another reason to retreat there. 

If you have been following me for a while you know that the bathroom is my retreat and hiding place at times. So I am really loving the scented toilet paper. Many people grew up with scented toilet paper and I am sad to say that I did not but I am making up for it now. Charmin has added Chamomile to the tube to give your roll the most calming smell and lets face it (without TMI) we all need to relax a little in the bathroom.

Come on, who would not want five minutes of just relaxing and taking in the most calming scent I know? For me this is just one small way to create a more relaxing retreat in my home. I have been working hard on making our home more us and more relaxing. One of the big things has been to lighten the color palette as much as I can. Along with recreating our home I have been working on both new and old traditions with my family. One of my favorite is the afternoon tea I have with the kids from time to time. It is just one small way to carry on the tradition my Grandmother and I had.

  1. I like the smell of chamomile. So this might be a nice scent for the bathroom. I don’t like some of the toilet papers that have a perfume scent to them. They are almost over powering. I will have to look for it. Thanks!

    • This one is very subtle and relaxing. It is not overpowering in fact you can’t really smell it through the packaging which is great.

  3. I think chamomile is a very nice choice of scenting TP! It has always been a comforting scent to me. Interested to smell this.

  4. Charmin with chamomile sounds so great. I cant wait to find this in stores. Would love to have this fresh scent in the bathroom. How calming and relaxing for even your guests.

  6. This is certainly an interesting concept! I am not sure if I would use it or not. I guess I would need to try it first then decide.
