My Thoughts: There is always something horrible or trying that is going on in our daily lives. What Chicken Soup for the Soul attempts to do by offering uplifting essays is to show us just how not alone we are in the world. There are a variety if essays in this book that show how everyday ordinary people make lemonade from their lemons. It is the book where I heard about “alligators” for my daily struggles. By and far this is one of my favorite books!

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

Well besides the positive books I mentioned on the other Chicken Soup book giveaway, I like Chicken Soup for the Soul: I Can’t Believe My Dog Did That! because it’s makes me laugh and that’s healthy to lift your spirits. The second book I like is Chicken Soup for the Soul: Answered Prayers because I’ve been working on being patient with having my prayers answered.
