It’s the last month of the year and for most of us it’s also the busiest month of the year! We made it..almost to another year. As a child I never thought about that other than finally get old enough to do certain things. As an adult I am amazed at the end of every year. There is so much that happens and this one has been full of things for me and my family.
Welcome to the Christmas 2021 Giveaway!
Once again the giveaway is pretty much the same as it was last time both here and over at Wickedly Romance. I didn’t see the point in changing something that works well. I managed ot get quarter one of next year planned. I told y’all it would eventually come together and it has. I won’t tell you any of those plans just yet. There are a few things I like to keep a surprise.

Throughout this month I have a 25 Days of Me special that I am sharing with y’all. It’s just something new to learn about me every day. A way for those who are knew to understand me and my weird self. For those who have been with me a while some of this is old news, and some may be new. I did strive to share things y’all may not have known.
I will also be sharing some of my favorite holiday memories and other parts of my past. I think there may be an old picture shared. I haven’t decided because truthfully, the entire family looks like we were forced to smile. We were if you want to know. A friend made a comment about families not taking many group pictures anymore and when I thought about it I knew I only had one of my dad’s family with all of us in it. My mother is hidden, my uncle has his then girlfriend and her kids in the picture. There was a lot of anger that day over that. No one is really looking like that want to be there. However, since half of the people in the picture have since passed away I treasure it.

I have wonderful childhood memories of Christmas on the farm with my family. My mother would make most of our presents and it was awesome!
How awesome Christmas was when i was growing up. Its not like today where kids get so many gifts that they dont appreciate what they receive. We didn’t get a lot of gifts, just a few, & we APPRECIATED it all! MERRY CHRISTMAS!! 🎁🎅🎄☃️❤️
Some of my best memories are from when I was a child all of my moms family would get together at her parents farm for a wonderful meal and spend time just talking a playing. It’s a great memory but sad too because both of my grandparents and my aunt and uncle have all passed away.
It’s a time where family gathers to enjoy great food and have a fun time together.
My favorite memories are of my grandmother decorating. She went above and beyond.
Every year my daughter and I bake sugar cookies and then watch Christmas movies together. Those are very special memories.
it’s a hectic season in terms of getting presents for the various kids in the family
I always think this time of year about the people who unfortunately get very depressed because they don’t have loved ones to share the holidays with. It’s a tough time for those people who have to watch commercials and movies showing “the ideal Christmas” that’s impossible to live up to.
I am really looking forward to spending Christmas Day with my children and grandchildren this year. COVID kept us apart last year so I am feeling blessed to be able to renew our family tradition this Christmas. And I am also appreciative of the technology that enables me to video chat with family members who live out-of-state and are unable to travel here.
Thank you so much for all that you do and all that you give through these awesome giveaways. A very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family.
I enjoy seeing the magic of Christmas in children’s eyes. That pure joy, there is nothing like it.
my favorite memories are about digging out our Christmas tree and decorating it!
We did the same. Walked for a few miles to a woodland, found the perfect tree and carried it back with my siblings.
For Christmas Eve we have the family come over my grandpop house and my cousins and aunts and uncles come over we have a big dinner and have a Pollyanna for Christmas. Some make it fun with fun gifts and some make it simple. We haven’t done it since Covid so I am hoping this year we do something. I miss it.
Christmas always makes me feel like a kid again! This year is special as our family can be together.
I like spending the holidays with family and friends in a warm and cosy environment, with lots of love sharing and food!
We love to bake a ton of Christmas cookies and decorate them together around the kitchen table each year.
I love watching Christmas movies with my family, reading Christmas themed books by the fireplace and baking cookies.
giving gifts
Best Christmas I ever had we were dead broke! My dad went into the woods to find a tree then had us make all our own decorations for it. It was so much fun! This year we are letting our daughter do that, she’s going to make all the ornaments hereself.
My favorite Christmas memory is walking through the city enjoying the Christmas decorations – both on the streets and inside stores and malls.
Always loved spending Christmas at my grandparent’s sheep farm with my aunts, uncles and cousins. I have fond memories of that time!
I always enjoyed creating Christmas tree ornaments with my mom, especially Snoopy themed ones. I like to create ornaments with the help of my kids now.
Hello, it’s my pleasure to participate in this giveaway.
My favorite memory of Christmas is the first year I had cats. No matter how hard I tried to prop the Christmas tree up, they knocked it down. I gave up afte rthe 5th time picking it up and putting ornaments back on. Back then I was moghtily annoyed, but looking back…it’s quite funny. It proves the point that cats own us and we are placed here on this earth to serve them! 😉
My most favorite memory is when we had our home and all our young men and ladies came home for the holidays. It was super cold out — like -35 and we still had a big outside fire with the snow all around us. That was so nice.
The Holidays mean family to me I love it when my children and grandchildren come to visit for the week and we have a great time and eat lots of wonderful food.
My favorite christmas memory is when I discover the real Santa. Heard a noise late at night, saw mom trying to hide behind the tree and dad walking up basement steps with so many packages he could barely see. Caught!
ON Christmas Eve we always do a traditional Polish feast with pierogies and borscht and fish. And every year when making the pierogies I think back to when I was little and making them with my mother and grandmother. It was always an all day affair, full of Christmas music and gossip.
Christmas for me is my mother making butter spritz cookies and coming down in the morning to cookies and milk

This year, my step-nephew and his wife will be joining us for Christmas. It is a quick visit, but my mom will love it. My child will be home for a full week too.
My favorite memories are with my grandma. I loved helping her decorate and bake.
My most memorable (but sad) Christmas was the first one we celebrated in Canada, after we emigrated from Switzerland. I missed my Granny so much. We got a surprise parcel, though, from her. It had Swiss chocolates, Swiss cheese, small toys for my baby brother and I, and a bunch of yarn for my mom. Also, hand-knit sweaters. But…my dad’s sweater fit my mom, my mom’s fit me, mine fit my brother, and my brother’s fit my doll. Poor dad, didn’t get one!
I miss the big family Christmas Eve party. We used to spend all day getting ready. It was a flurry of activity and excitement that I miss.
My favorite childhood Christmas memory is one of all the family being together when my grandparents were still with us. There was so much joy & laughter. It wasn’t about the presents, it was just enjoying each other’s company & stuffing ourselves with all the wonderful food that was prepared.
My favorite memory is being with my mom
Christmas is my favorite time of the year. My favorite Christmas memory is my son’s first Christmas.
My mom came into my room late one night to gift me when I was a 10 year old with a toy kitten, as a “trip from Santa”
She didnt know I was not sleeping and said “Hi mom!”
Most of my more unforgettable christmas moments are from my youth when we use to reunite with the entire family, cousins, aunts and parents on our grandmother country house, i can perceive the smell of orange oil from fresh baked pastries, hand made pasta and the endless games with everyone, most of those Role playing games. When i want to be happy i return with my mind those times, and remember who is not present with me anymore but lives on our beloved memories.
We used to have family and friends over my grandma’s house on Christmas Eve. My grandma would make us open our gifts from her and take them home so she didn’t have to lug them in her car when she came over on Christmas day. I love to bake snickerdoodles to share with friends and family. My grandma would make fudge and peanut clusters.
I remember every year singing along to Christmas albums on our record player. I love the holidays!
We always are with family and we so miss the ones not at our table now. Now this is our 2nd holiday without our family because of Covid.
We really enjoy taking the children out to the family farm to pick out a tree every year.
I’m looking forward to getting to spend Christmas with my family this year.
I remember my dad loving to put candy canes on the Christmas tree each year. He would always lift up the youngest kiddo to help them put canes on the top. I have the same tradition with my own kids now.
I love spending time with family and watching Christmas unfold through my daughter’s eyes. Last year she made me ornaments for my tree for Christmas and I love them so much!
We enjoy decorating our home each year. It has become a tradition for my husband and I.
My favorite memories are decorating and baking cookies with all the kids in the family.
Our extended family and friends get together every Christmas Eve and have been doing this for over 50 years. Grandpa Oscar started it and then it was carried on by his daughter and is now hosted by his granddaughter. Covid stopped it last year and we have decided to give it a rest for one more year. Just doing immediate family. We have too many older and also some new babies. Playing it safe.
I looked forward to going to my grandparents house. Such great times as a kid.

I love Christmas!!! We always decorate, have dinner together & exchange a lot of presents! 🙂
I love going to see the lights while listening to Christmas music while drinking hot coco with the family!!!
One of my favorite memories is the first time my son really understood about Santa and when he woke in the morning, he was so excited. He actually slid down our carpeted stairs because he was rushing down them.
Christmas gets hard the older I get … at least I’m in close proximity to my sister these days
I’m hoping that Christmas will help everyone find just a little bit more joy. It’s been a little hard to find lately. Peace!
I love gathering around the tree with my family.
When I was 7 and my brother 15 we camped out in the family station wagon so we could catch Santa. Of course I fell asleep before he came, so my brother carried me in to be put to bed.

My favorite memories are of teaching my daughter our family traditions and making new ones with my beautiful granddaughters.
We have a family dinner and game night every year
I think some of my favorite memories do not involve presents at all. One of my fondest we still do even though kids are not around and things have changed so much. We still take a drive and see the lights.
I have so many beautiful Christmas memories. Do many. But since my parents passed Christmas is a little painful
like decorating together
I like playing music while decorating the tree and opening up handwritten cards for the holidays.
We had a very simple Christmas this year…1 small gift for me and my hubby….income is scarce. Thanks and God bless!
We love playing games as a family on Christmas
Our holiday traditions bring us together in joy and thanksgiving for what we have.
My favorite Christmas memories always involved putting up the tree. Not sure why that in particular, but I really loved it when I was younger 🙂
Hope you had a happy holiday (and thanks for the chance to win)!!
My favorite Christmas memories are from being a kid with my WHOLE family celebrating together – it was magical!
I always loved the holidays as a child, all of my cousins lived nearby and we spent every holiday together. I still do love Christmas time it is just different.
I have great memories of going to my Grandmother’s house for Christmas as a kid and her making homemade candy for us.
My daughter;s first Christmas was most memorable. We had all our family over for dinner, and she just lit up the room even when she was sleeping so peacefully while everyone ate and chatted. It was so wonderful.
I have a memory from many years ago. My grandparents were supposed to come for Christmas but it snowed heavily the day before . I was for sure they would not be able to come. I was around 8 or 9. I was sad. Later on there was a knock on the door and in came my grandpa with a big big bag of presents.
Going to midnight mass, coming home and getting to open two presents. One was always new pajamas and the other a surprise.
Thanks for the contest.
Kids always slept under the Christmas tree
Christmas really is the most wonderful and magic time of the year.
Growing up, the whole extended family would get together on Christmas eve for a huge dinner spread and to exchange and open gifts. That time is still magical in my mind.
Our family has big homemade Lasagna dinner on Christmas Eve, then we all attend Midnight Mass.
I love getting together with friends and family through out the holiday season, enjoying the decorations and all the excitement and anticipation of all the children!
My nieces moved in with us in September so it was our first Christmas with them living with us. We decorated, made cookies, made a gingerbread house and had so much fun wrapping presents together. It was a great Christmas!
Visting my grandparent’s house and opening gifts was the best; having a big meal together with everyone sitting around the table always brings fond memories back.
Celebrated with the family at home, had a Christmas dinner.
I was always the one to put up the Christmas tree. I still do till this day.
Christmas was so much fun as a kid baking with my grandma and helping her wrap gifts. Christmas Day with the whole family cousins grandparents aunts and uncles the whole family would show up I miss those days but wonderful Memories. New Memories to be made ahead.
Going to my grandparents house was such a treat any time, but especially great at the holidays. Their house was quite small and we were shoulder to shoulder at the dining room table but no one cared. Still not sure how grandma put out such a spread from her tiny kitchen. Oh, the memories!!
My favorite Christmas memory as a child was going to my grandparents house and having dinner and seeing all of my cousins and family.

Having Christmas Eve dinner at my Grandparent’s house was a favorite memory for me. Our whole family was there and Grandmother held the event even after Grandaddy passed. The first Christmas gift my girlfriend (now wife) gave me was an ornament she had made that said “our first Christmas” with the year engraved. My favorite Christmas gift ever.
We’re having very limited holiday celebrations this year with several family members trying to recover from Covid. Hopefully next year will be better.
Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I love everything about it, the lights the merriment and the family togetherness. This year’s Christmas was derailed a little as hubby and I both got sick so things just weren’t the same. I really hope we get the chance to make up for it all next year.
We didn’t do anything. Sad.
Quiet time spent with family at Christmas is everything.
I normally find Christmas to be stressful, but this year it was pretty relaxing. I love watching my kids opening their gifts.
