If you have small children then you all about Chuggington™ ! We watch it daily here and sometimes twice daily (once on the east coast and once on the west coast!) Well I was thrilled to learn that Ludorum the creators of Chugginton™ have teamed up with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to teach children (Preschool to 1st grade) about traffic safety. I remember when I was in the first grade and we lived near train tracks. Our school showed PSA videos that were horrific! I have never forgotten them so I am thrilled that any sort of safety information for my ninos can be presented in a fun way.
¡Piensa seguro, viaja seguro, mantente seguro! or ‘Think Safe, Ride Safe, Be Safe!, is a Spanish-language public service program with an interactive website. that provides child transportation safety guidance to families with young children. We actually had a lot of fun checking the website out, of course we had to do while we were visiting my sister in-law since our computer was down. I love that the website focuses on safety in four main areas: car seat, bike, pedestrians, and bus. I love that this areas were covered because while we often tell our children about car safety and worry about car crashes we often forget about the dangers in other areas.

The kids loved that their favorite Chuggington™ characters: Wilson, KoKo and Brewster were the ones telling them about safety! They really enjoyed the Chuggington Safety Game because if they made the correct safety procedure they could earn badges. Not to mention there are various coloring pages and puzzles that you can download. I know this is something that your children are going to love as much as mine have. So head on over to ¡Piensa seguro, viaja seguro, mantente seguro! to play, download your coloring pages, and just have fun!
What safety have you shared with them (car, bike, pedestrian, bus)?
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

I have older kids so they aren’t watching Chuggington. I love that they have safety teamed with characters that kids already know and love. I would hope that it is more impactful than some random character or just stating the information.
