I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

These take me back to my days of youth, in California. At nearly every event we went to, churros were being sold by a cart vendor. I really want to make these, but I’m vegetarian and the “deep-fat frying” doesn’t sound vegetarian. Can you recommend a vegetarian option, such as a vegetable-based oil or something? Thanks!
