Can I just say that this was a movie that I was so excited about? While this wasn’t out when I was little it was certainly my children’s favorite books. My niece adored Clifford when she was little as well so he has been a part of our lives for a number of years. If you didn’t already know Clifford The Big Red Dog will be in theaters and on Paramount+ on November 10th.
When middle-schooler Emily Elizabeth (Darby Camp) meets a magical animal rescuer (John Cleese) who gifts her a little, red puppy, she never anticipated waking up to find a giant ten-foot hound in her small New York City apartment. While her single mom (Sienna Guillory) is away for business, Emily and her fun but impulsive uncle Casey (Jack Whitehall) set out on an adventure that will keep you on the edge-of-your-seat as our heroes take a bite out of the Big Apple. Based on the beloved Scholastic book character, Clifford will teach the world how to love big! Rated PG
Starring: Jack Whitehall, Darby Camp, Tony Hale, Sienna Guillory, David Alan Grier, Russell Wong and John Cleese CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG has been rated PG for impolite humor, thematic elements and mild action.
WATCH THE TRAILER
Watch the trailer of the movie above and decide for yourself if you are going to love it. I am more than certain that you are. This is a movie the whole family will enjoy. It is one that I know the kids will watch to watch over and over again. It hits theaters on Wednesday but the best part is that you can also watch it from the comfort of home thanks to it streaming on Paramount+. That makes things so much easier for us since sitting in a movie theater is not soemthing we can do at the moment.

My grandson spent a week in the hospital when he was 4 with RSV. He loved Clifford, so I brought a whole stack of Clifford books to read to him. It was an awful time, but we look back on it with fondness for Clifford still.
