I am so pleased that we received this book. I honestly have very few books about God for the kids. Our bookstore doesn’t carry very many and you would think after all these years of reviewing there would be some. Close as a Breath is an excellent book for teaching children about the wonders of God. The little girl’s dad does a great job of explaining things like why the water freezes but my favorite is when he tells her about God being everywhere.
This book is for children ages 0-6 which means it is great for the twins. The older kids actually enjoy reading it to them so some slightly older children may enjoy it as well. It is a board book so you don’t have to worry about them tearing it up easily.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

This sounds like a wonderful book. I love that it is for younger children. I feel the younger you start talking to kids about god the easier it is to continue as they grow.

This is a great book for that younger age. Growing up we could go to Bible School when we were older but had no books like this at a younger age, even though our family was very Christian oriented.

This sounds like it is a good book. It is always nice to have some help explaining the tougher questions in life. I have used books a lot of times to help explain things to my kids.

These books seems like they would be very helpful. I like the idea of mixing scientific explanation with God’s divine hand that sustains those processes. I would be interested in reading this, because I find that some books like this oversimplify things, in the sense that they offer religious explanations that may or may not be biblical. It sounds like the author of this book doesn’t do that, but I would be interested in reading it, myself.

I love board books for kids. When my little grand-niece finds a book that she likes she will carry it with her and look at it all them. Doesn’t take long before it is destroyed. It can be hard to explain the wonders of God to an adult, much less a child so to find a resource to help explain it is just awesome!

This book would be a FANTASTIC book to gift a special God child. My son is a 16 year old Godfather to his lil’ niece. He likes to get her special gifts and I will let him know about this for an Easter gift. Thanks for reviewing…you are right, not many books around like this unless you go into a Christian bookstore. Most are closed down in our area 🙁

This sounds like a great book for my son. I really need more books about God for him. We do have a few books that I have won. You can never have too many books about God.
