Monday Morning Coffee Break 1/11/16

I thought I would take a little time each Monday morning and share something fun with you. It could be a simple little story about something that happened or maybe just a picture. Just a little something that will help make the week begin a little bit brighter and on a better note. Mondays are extremely busy for me and I always feel like I am drowning on that day of the week.

Not to mention that I can only have 1 cup of coffee a week now and I have chosen to have it on the day that I need it the most. I had to cut back drastically because of my blood pressure and blood sugar. So sit back and (I hope that you will) enjoy these little posts each week.

Doggie Photo Shoot

Back before Christmas my sister in-law saw a photo on Facebook of the cutest dog with a wreath around its neck and thought that would make for the cutest Christmas cards ever. So she asked my brother and me to take Turner for a photo shoot. Now Turner is a labor-doodle and is a fairly large guy. Charlie and I decided that I would do the photos and he would hold Turner cause he’s a runner!

We had the perfect spot selected and started out. An hour later and all I can tell you is that I wanted to kill the wreath, was hot and tired and none of the pictures were turning out the way we wanted them to. He just wasn’t having any part of it so we decided to leave. We ended up driving around and stopping for a biscuit at Bojangles. Turner also had a biscuit and then we headed back to our photo shoot.

What we discovered was that a biscuit and some fig newtons go a long way to making Turner the diva that he is at times! We ended up with some great photos and a lesson learned!
