Bloggers love comments! It is true we do and we are not afraid to admit it. While I don’t always reply to every comment I do read through each one I receive. I still get very excited about them as well. I get tons of giveaway comments and they are just as wonderful! So I thought I would spread a little love for all the comments that you all leave for me!

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

I leave coments on blogs because I have something to say, whether it’s an opinion or review. I try to keep them all positive since there are other readers involved, and no one likes negativity anyway. You kind of need to keep that to yourself.

I leave comments on other blogs because I have something to say. Sometimes it’s just encouragement, or to let them know that I visited them. Other times I just want to be involved in some way with the blogger in question because I want them to know that they matter.

I leave comments on post that are about something that interests me or I have experience with. You used to hardly ever leave comments. Then I realized that how would the author ever know if someone read the post. I thought about how that would make me feel. That made me start leaving comments.
Eileen Richter says
Sometimes it is about a recipe, sometimes about a photo, but the comments I mostly make on sites (unprompted by giveaway expectations) are usually because something was funny or because someone needed encouragement or I GOT encouragement from a post…or something just struck a chord. When I was working full time and had a houseful of kids, keeping a home…I would have never taken the time to “chat” with other women/bloggers online. With a life change that took a lot away, I am often sullen about this but grateful for what it has given me and for the people it has brought me to. People need communication with others. When phone texting is so short and detached, emails seem impersonal, phone calls can get too lengthy (well for me anyway), I think just a comment on someone’s page…something important to them is just nice. Connected. Important. HUMAN!
Jessica Dobbs says
Most of the time, I never follow through with commenting, even when I really want to… unless the post REALLY moves me, or it’s something I’m SUPER into;
Yesterday I commented on a post that was probably 2 years old… because it was a cookie recipe and not only was the dough TO DIE FOR, the recipe was SO easy to follow and I was very thankful they posted the HOW TO
Jean says
I genuinely appreciate it when I find a craft or recipe that I know my family will enjoy and/or will make my life easier. Bloggers work hard to come up with ideas for posts and comments are the best way to show that you value their efforts!
