Cool Memory Foam Pillow from Comfort Revolution

My pillows are more than old, in fact one I use my Grandmother bought for me when I was a teenager. It is super flat but I have had a hard time throwing it out since she passed away about eight years ago and it is one of only two things from her I have. I knew it was more than time for new pillows and I have been on the lookout for the ones that really work for me. Comfort Revolution has pillows that intrigued me so I was thrilled when they agreed to work with me. Comfort Revolution’s founder is not new to the sleep industry. In fact in 1986 he created the first egg carton mattress pad for retail. You remember those things that use to be on hospital beds! Then in 1996 he brought the first memory foam pads to retail so you can be sure they know their stuff when it comes to helping you get a good night’s sleep.

I received an Hydraluxe Bed Pillow in Icy Violet Bubbles (with Frosted Pink Cover) to try out and I will say that this pillow has surprised me. I was worried because when I took it out of the box and laid my head on it, it was really soft and got super flat. I like a little more firm pillow that holds its shape but once I began sleeping on this pillow I fell in love! The cool gel layers actually means I have to turn my pillow less often because of it being hot ( I did this often with regular pillows) and I feel as though I am much more relaxed.

I know this pillow really works because I made the mistake of falling asleep on the couch the other day without a pillow and my head laying funny on the arm. Needless to say I woke up with the worst headache that stayed with me the rest of the day. When I went to bed that night as soon as I laid my head down I could feel the headache begin to ease and I drifted off to sleep with very little trouble. The cover on the pillow can be unzipped and washed which is a plus. I really love the colors too. The Hydraluxe Series comes in several colors choices as well as your choice of bed pillow or contour pillow.

I have discovered that the Hydraluxe is the best pillow for side sleepers, at least it is for me. I wake up feeling much better. Now I need to to do something about my mattress that I discovered last night has a spring sticking up. Comfort Revolution carries  both a memory core mattress and a bubbles gel mattress pad. I just need to decide which will work best for us.
