It is super hot here in the South and there are few ways to beat the heat. I spent some time over the weekend out in the yard getting things looking decent and when I was done I knew I wanted something cool and adult! I knew that would be the best time to try the Veev Vitafrute Coconut Colada!

Veev Vitafrute is the first line of  certified organic and all natural ready-to-drink cocktails. There is under 125 calories in each serving which I love since I am on a diet.Not to mention all ingredients are premium! There is 15% alcohol which makes it 30 proof.  Coconut Colada is their newest flavor, in fact all I had to do was add some ice and drink! I kept mine simple, just some ice in a glass but if I was having a party or a girl’s night I would have gotten some coconuts, halved them, and cored them out to make cups serving the drink inside with a straw.

I actually really enjoyed this drink a lot and while the ice made it cold enough I did decide to put the bottle in the freezer for the next time. Which I must say made it taste even better the next go around since it was colder.There are three other flavors: Margarita, Lemonade, Cosmopolitan all of which sound great. I really want to try the Lemonade and will be heading out to the store to find it. You can find Veev Vitafrute at  major grocery store chains such as Ralphs, Walmart, CVS, Meijers, Krogers, etc. across the country.

  2. This sounds like the perfect summer cocktail. I may have to download the coupon and try it. I am not good at mixing cocktails, so I love when all I have to do is pour. I also love, when they are lower calorie.

  3. Cosmo and Lemonade are most appealing to me. I might even try to blend it with ice to make a daquiri-type drink. A grown-up sno-cone.

  5. I have never heard of this brand before. I wish I could enjoy an adult beverage every now and then but I usually get a headache from them so I don’t bother trying.

  6. I have never seen or heard of this. I like that it’s all mixed and all you have to do is just pour it over ice. That’s perfect for a ladies night or on a hot summer night at the lake. I will have to look for this at my Kroger. I would love to try the lemonade. Thanks!
