 I have frizzy curly hair and most days all I do is allow it to air dry. This sort of helps keep the frizz to a minimum. Using heat really wrecks my hair and I haven’t found a proudct that helps at all. When BeautyStat asked if I wanted to try CoolWay True Smooth Spray I thought why not.

Just what is CoolWay True Smooth Spray? Well  it is a new technology that allows you to avoid using a flat iron altogether. AminoLock MAB is the brand’s patent-pending molecule which holds your hairstyle safely from inside the cuticle as you blow-dry. Sounds complicated right? Using the spray is easy, all you have to do is shake well and then spray 25-45 sprays (depending on your hair type and length) to your wet hair and comb it through. It didn’t take that many sprays for my hair and I have shoulder length hair.

Now you can see my curls are not all over the place and my hair just looks better. I used my fingers and didn’t brush. With a brush it is much smoother and full of volume.

Once I sprayed and combed I then used the lowest setting on my hair dryer and dried my hair. This means the frizz is no longer an issue and I haven’t damaged my hair from all the high heat. I just used my fingers to create my curls but if you want smooth and straight then you could use your brush and straighten your hair with your blow dryer. Talk about a great blowout!   1. My daughter could really use this. She has Super thick long hair and it gets crazy curly. When I help her blow dry her hair it take the two of us almost 45 minutes to really get it dry. For $24.95 it’s not that much compared to some of the stuff we have bought at salons. Thanks for the info and the discount code.

  2. My 14 year old could really try this. Her hair is very thick but gets frizz. She would LOVE the curls but has just a bit of wave. She was told to get a product like this and now I can see this one looks fantastic. Great photos and great review!
