I told myself I wasn’t going to buy any new books this month. I have several advanced copies that I need to read for reviews so my schedule was full. Then I remembered that the Lexi Blake Crossover Collection was coming out and I needed to get her new one. After I read all of the blurbs about all of the books I decided I would also get Rescuing Sadie by Susan Stoker since Sadie is Sean’s (One of the original Masters & Mercenaries characters) niece and I knew who she was from a previous book.
That decision did me in. Well that and the fact that I read about Sadie first. I figured it was a novella so I could get through it pretty quickly. Which I did but I loved the characters so much that I needed to know more about the Delta Force team. That led me to getting the first book in the series, Rescuing Rayne, which was free. So no worries there. Then I bought every other book in the series and I haven’t read the Lexi Blake one yet.
All I can say is I tried! I really tried to be good about it all. These books are so good and I had thought I had read Susan Stoker in the past. After a search of my books I found another one or two by her. I can remember liking them but I have no idea why I never bothered to read more of her books.Don’t worry though I am currently making up for that.
I will say that October can’t get here fast enough because that is when Tank and Mary’s story will come out and I need to know what is going on with those two. Yes! I did stalk Susan Stoker once I discovered how much I loved her work. After all I needed to add her releases to my calendar that is super important. Truthfully I am so thrilled that I took the time to read this amazing author!
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
