Del Monte Makes Snack Time Easy

When we have snack time around here typically the first foods that are reached for are the sugary sweets. Well in an effort to eat better and get healthier I have cut the sweets we have in the house at any given time down to almost none. If and when we need to have sweets (such as a party) then we go out and buy them or make them as needed. Del Monte has helped me with this in such an amazing way!

Del Monte Fruit Burst Squeezers

Del Monte sent us some of their amazing new products to try out and we are loving them! First up was the Fruit Burst® Squeezers which came in two varieties: Simply Fruit (Strawberry, Mixed Berry and Apple Cinnamon) and Fruit + Veggie (Peach-Mango and Blueberry.) These are the best for when we are on the go! You simply undo the top and then squeeze the contents into your mouth. No fuss! No mess! That is why I love having these in the car when the kids need a little snack or get hungry. They are shelf stable so they don’t have to be kept cold and with these in the diaper bag I don’t have to worry about having to stop at a fast food place.

Del Monte Fruit Cups

Next were the Mango Pineapple Fruit Cup® Snacks and I wish could say the kids loved these but the truth is my mom ate all of these. I think she ate them all in day too.  She said they were so great and I can’t complain because she doesn’t eat well enough as it is. This gave her the fruit intake that she so badly needs and made her happy. I like that they are single serve cups because it means the kids (or mom) can get these and serve themselves without any help from me.

  38. Everyone in my family has a sweet tooth- and it makes sense to satisfy it with some healthy, sweet fruit, rather than processed sweets and candies!

  39. I pack my two daughters lunch every weekday for school and daycare. Fruit cups are easy on me and the girls love them! Diced peaches are their favorite.

    • Washing, peeling, chopping, etc. are excuses for not eating more fruit, so the convenient packaging is very desirable.
