Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner headline this hilarious, adorable comedy about how a bad day can reunite a family in unexpected ways. This movie is based on the popular children’s book of the same name that was first published in 1972. We have read the book and enjoyed it but the movie really goes beyond Alexander’s bad day and extends to the rest of his family.
They are really put to the test and it is endearing the way they can all still be there for one another even after having such horrible days. This movie is sure to become a Disney Classic that will be enjoyed for years to come. Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day was one of my favorite films so far this year. It’s funny on so many multiple levels that everyone in the family can enjoy it , not to mention it is also surprisingly touching.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
