Planes

Our gift guide has several Disney movies on it this year because there have been some great one come out! Here is another one!

About the Movie

From Above the World of Cars, comes Disney’s Planes. An underdog story about a crop duster plane, Dusty, who dreams of winning an air race. After practicing hard to make his dreams a reality, he has the opportunity to fly in a race with some of the world’s fastest flyers. Though Dusty has a big heart & big dreams, he wasn’t built for speed….& he’s also afraid of flying too high. With a little help from his friends, Dusty finds the courage to be more than he was built for—and the inspiration to soar.

My Thoughts

I love movies that teach something! Planes, teaches kids to never giving up trying or on your dreams. This is such a great movie. If you liked Cars then you are going to love Planes! Form start to finish the kids were laughing and entertained which can be a difficult thing at times. I must admit though that I really enjoyed this movie myself as well. My favorite is El Chupacabra who had me giggling whenever he was on the screen.

This is on Jacks Santa list, and I have to say I am looking forward to seeing it, Though I am not sure with it not being Pixar who did it — But it looks pretty much the same 🙂

I’m so glad this is out! We’re really looking forward to a family movie night, and unwinding from the holiday stress with a fun movie.

Disney Planes is such a good family movie with great characters and the story really keeps me riveted. I like the colors and animation. Even though I am an adult, I love animated movies.

I really want to see this with my boys. I have hard great things about this movie. We missed attending the screening due to a conflict. Maybe I need to get this as a stocking stuffer for my boys.

I also think the Never Give Up theme is a good lesson for the kids. Talking about it afterwards would be a good follow up to see if they got the message.

This is such a cute movie and I like what Disney has been doing lately. It seems like the quality has really improved over the year.

I just watched that trailer 3 times! I wanted so bad to see it in the theater but I have just been too sick. I would be thrilled if someone gave me this for Christmas. I love all things Disney!

I totally agree with you that it is a great movie. We saw it at the Drive-In this summer and loved it. Like you said it has you from start to finish.

I’m glad to hear that it was a good movie. I’m one of those Disney fans that lives and breathes Disney, but for whatever reason, I have my reservations about this movie. Maybe it’s because I wasn’t that big a fan of Cars. But now that I’ve seen you give this review with such a positive outcome, I think I just may give it a try. 🙂

We saw the movie when it was at the theaters so I knew when it came out we had to buy it. My son loves this movie.
