A couple of weeks ago I got into the shower and discovered that Ma had purchased a different body wash than what I normally use. I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it so I used the Dove Body Wash and went about my day.
I will tell you that I enjoyed the Cucumber and Green tea scent very much. I loved the way it lathered with only a small amount on my loofah. As much as I originally hated that she got the wrong body wash I have found myself enjoying this one.
I have been using it for a month and I have noticed that my skin feels so much better. I wasn’t sure if it was just this body wash or what so I switched to using plain soap again for a couple of days. Right away my skin felt as though it was drying out. I have horribly dry skin and plain skin makes it worst.
Went back to the Dove Body Wash and goodbye dry skin. Well, maybe not goodbye but much more manageable. I don’t have to put lotion all over forty times a day either anymore. I put it on after I get out of the shower and then I’m good. My legs needs it one more time during the day but they don’t look like alligator legs anymore.
In fact, we loved it so much that we bought ten big bottles of it when we went shopping last week. That way there is plenty in the house. Now Ma only likes this scent which is okay. It helps her skin as well. She is getting older and her skin is starting to get dryer and dryer. It is also getting paper thin.
She has to be careful with anything she uses because she will break out and this has been something that has worked for her. I have never been more thrilled that she goofed and got the wrong body wash. Although I think she didn’t. she just liked the scent of this one and decided it was time to change.
As I said I enjoyed this body wash. Ma said she got it at the Dollar General but you can check your retailer and find it. There are other scents that I am planning on getting and finding out if they are as awesome as this one.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
