Dr. Doormat: The First Line of Defense

Feb 10, 2015 | Rita

Dr Doormat

review disclosure
The area near my front door can be super gross at times! We live out in the country and you would not believe some of the dirt, grim, and God knows what else gets dragged in. I have placed doormats there but they always end up looking worse for wear. Then I discovered Dr. Doormat and just what was coming into my house.

Dr Doormat 2

Dr. Doormat is the first antimicrobial treated doormat designed for home use. The mat is infused during the manufacturing process with a specially formulated antimicrobial that permanently bonds to the fibers of the doormat and cannot be tracked through your home. Dr. Doormat is attractive and ideal for all entrances of your home, providing protection for your home throughout the life of the product.

I received an 18×24 Apartment size doormat to try out (they are also available in 24×36) and I must say it is more than I expected to be. The style is very simple but I lie that and it is very functions. It isn’t super thick so the door will actually close on it. Since it is Charcoal Gray dirt doesn’t stand out. Honestly the thing I love the most is that some of those germs are being stopped at the door. After a week of the flu we need all the help we can get around here.

Dr Doormat 3
There are four color choices for you to select from and now that I know about the germs I really can’t image using any other doormat ever. Dr. Doormat has changed the way I will forever look at that little space just inside my front door, back door, and any other door that leads from the outside of the house to the inside.

Great doormat! No tracking yucky stuff into the house, I love the bottom of the mat, looks like it sits well in place, and I love that it does not interfere with the door opening and closing.

Oh this is such a great idea! I love it! I have not heard about it before, but am going to look into it! With a little one…we try to keep out the illnesses!

Wow what an amazing idea, we could use that doormat..with 2 sometimes up to four dogs and 3 – 10 family members coming and going we could use all the help to keep germs at bay
