This month (on the 1st) the Dyson DC59 made its way to Best Buy for the amazing price of $499.00. I was lucky enough to get to review one and I must tell you that after having so many people in our home during the week of funerals I needed all the help I could get to get it back into some order. This puppy had 3 times the suction of any other cordless vacuum in use and I can vouch for that. My nephew decided to stick in to my head and I now have a great bald spot (keep it away from children!)

Another great thing is that you get 26 minutes of clean time along with a V6 motor (50% more power than V2) , 2 Tier Radial Cyclone technology brought to cordless for the first time, re-engineered brush bar for hard floor and carpet cleaning, and only 4.65 lbs. It performs like an upright, in my opinion, better than my upright that never seems to get the job done. I love the boost button (max) on the back because it means I can control the the force of the suction which is something that I have never seen in any other vacuum.  There are so many things to love about this handy vacuum. It turns on a dime and I can get into place that I never thought I would ever be able to vacuum before in my entire life.

  1. These look like such great vacuums! I would love to have one of these. with 2 kids and 2 cats my floors are always in need of cleaning. I just don’t know about spending that much on a vacuum. I would have to think long and hard about it.
    PS Sorry about the bald spot. At least you can say from experience that it has great suction strength. 🙂
