I love finding new and interesting items for the people on my gift list. One of the hardest people to shop for is my mother. She has everything she could possibly want and if she does want something she won’t always tell you. That is why when I came across the East Grove Stamp Co I knew I would find something for her there.
The East Grove Stamp Co started when a husband gave his wife two rubber stamps as a wedding gift. The rest they say is history. What those two stamps created is a company that passionate about creating products that will pull you away from the electronic screens in your life and get you having a real conversation.

We received the Irish Toast Coasters in the tin (shown above.) They are available in either the tin or a box. I liked the tin because I felt it could be reused for another purpose (it now holds my washi tape!) and it somehow looked better to me than the box. This is just one of several different coasters that East Grove Stamp Co offers and the ones that I liked the best. They are made of laser-engraved leather which means they will stand the test of time.
This toast sounds like the perfect one for the holiday season. Things can change at the drop of a hat and there are plenty of people in the world who know that. Our roofs are not guaranteed but with the grace of God they may stay above our heads. While I always hope to always have the same friends I know that friends change as our lives change. There is a small handful in my life that have not changed.
This is a toast that I am familiar with. I have an aunt who said it all the time. As far I know she wasn’t Irish so I’m sure where she would have heard it at. However when things got tough or we complained that is what she said her wish for us was.
I have actually heard this toast before in a movie but I can’t remember which one it was. it is a great toast and as you can see looks awesome on the coaster.
This was my favorite toast out of all of them. It is funny but somehow so true! After all no one wants the the splinters to point the wrong way. I love that life is referred to as banisters. This is the coaster that I use next to my reading chair and yes I have my own chair in the living room.
As you can see if the side view above these coasters are not super thin nor are they super thick. I worried about that with them being leather. Leather can be really thin or really thick at times. I also wasn’t sure how they would hold up to the sweat that comes off the glass. They held up beautifully and don’t stain. Again leather will do that sometimes when it gets wet.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
