Easter is right around the corner. Literally it is two weeks away and I don’t know about y’all but I still have a few gifts to buy for the baskets. That is why I was super interested in My Gift Stop when I first heard about it. I headed over to the site over the weekend to check things out and see if there was anything that I could use to put into Ma’s and my secret friend’s Easter baskets this year.
If you have not hear of them before, My Gift Stop, is an online shop that not only offers luxury goods but they give back as well. They donate 5% of every sale to the global medical relief nonprofit, Direct Relief. They are a a fabulous place to find watches for men and women. Of course My Gift Shop offers much more than just watches. You can shop online for last minute gifts, name brand sunglasses, handbags, shoes, and more. The prices are amazing and they offer easy returns. Easy returns is super important for me because sometimes I get a gift wrong.
The first thing that I loved about their site was that I could select I was looking for an Easter gift for a friend (or mother) and they would give me some suggestions. That makes shopping a million times easier. Especially when you don’t know what sort of gift you want to get someone. So for my secret friend I searched and searched. I wanted a gift that (1) wouldn’t break the bank and (2) would mean something to her for years to come. She is an older lady at church so I wanted to get her something nice. This Gem Star Sterling Silver 1/20 Ct.Tw. Moving Diamond Fashion Pendant I think is perfect for her. It was only $37.50 which makes it the perfect gift. I just love when I can go to a site and find something I didn’t know I wanted.
Ma is another story! I found the above Micheal Kors bracelet that I am certain she will love. The problem is I am not sure if she will wear it often enough, not that it makes any difference. I just want to get her something she will enjoy and wear often.
So the other item I found was this Invicta watch which again I am certain she will enjoy. I guess I am going to just have to get them both. That way I could give her one for Easter and then the other for Mother’s Day.
I don’t know how it is done in your home but as I said I give gifts in Easter baskets. My reason is that I don’t like just giving candy. It is so impersonal to just fill a basket with candy. It’s like saying the person could be interchangeable with anyone else. At least in my opinion it is. I am so thrilled that I found My Gift Shop so I can do my last minute shopping (because I always forget someone) as well as my planned (on time) gift shopping.
