I am one of those women who use pads when Aunt Flo comes to visit. I openly admit it and although I have been made fun of in my family (everyone else uses tampons) I am not ashamed of it. For me pads are what work. What doesn’t work for me are the price of pads. I go through about 3-4 packages a month because Aunt Flo likes to bring all her baggage. I honestly didn’t think there was any other way. Then I discovered Pink Lemonade Shop and I was mesmerized by their products.
Pink Lemonade Shop has eco-friendly pads and other products for when Aunt Flo is visiting. Here is what Sue the founder of Pink Lemonade Shop has to say:
I believe in providing my customers with an excellent quality product and prompt, friendly customer service. I’m also a bit of a fabric snob and only use the very best fabrics to make my cloth menstrual pads. Hand dyed Bamboo Velour, Lusciously soft Minky, and designer Cotton Woven prints are just a hint of some of the wonderful fabrics that I have to offer.
The bottom layer of my pads is made with high quality Water Resistant Fleece or breathable Wool Interlock.
I received three pads from Pink Lemonade Shop (shown above) and right away you notice how very cute and feminine they are. I mean let’s face it would you rather put one of these on during that time or look down and see one of these? I would but I wanted to know how they would hold up.
I will spare you all the details only to say that I was very surprised. I was worried that they would feel gross after I had been wearing it for a while. Sometimes regular pads do and they have all those absorbent layers (don’t get me started) and then I change them.
I wore these out while I was in town with backups in my purse just in case. I can honestly say that these never once felt gross and I was out and about shopping up a storm. These were great and got the job done. Washing them was no harder than washing a cloth diaper although I did was them twice.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

I like their newest offering of a set of 4 Minky Pads with Fleece backs. Sounds so soft and warm (it’s cold here)! The other selection would be the flowered 9 Inch In Bloom Charcoal Minky Day Pad with Fleece back. Never thought about using charcoal for the odorless properties, but great idea!
