Eli’s Cheescake

Due all the crazy hosting issues I didn’t get this done and up before Christmas but I want to share with you an amazing product that we were able to try out. It was from Eli’s Cheesecake. I am a HUGE cheesecake lover, however I wasn’t always. I use to hate it, in fact I couldn’t even stand the smell of it but a few years ago that all changed and now I love. I typically like the plain, orignal cheesecake with nothing added.  Eli Schulman, a guy from the West Side of Chicago who built a reputation for himself and his restaurants that’s lasted across the years and around the world.  I had always wanted to try an Eli’s Cheesecake and now was my chance.

We received a Holiday sampler that had  three flavors: White Chocolate Peppermint, Pumpkin, and Chocolate Carmel Pecan. They all look so good and saving them for the family was hard. Each one had its own unique flavor that seemed to melt in your mouth. I have never in my entire life tasted anything so velvety smooth. It was rich and delicious, and a whole lot of other adjectives that I just can’t seem to think of. My whole purpose however for agreeing to review Eli’s Cheesecake was I wanted my nephew Reese to taste cheesecake. He is four and has never had any in his life.  so we set out to give a taste not expecting much, but as you can see in the video that he surprised me. Yes that is me with my thick Southern accent in the background.

If you are looking for something special to serve for dessert (Valentine’s Day is coming) or you simply want to treat yourself to a little slice of heaven then I suggest you try Eli’s Cheesecake. I promise you will be more than happy.
