Today I am talking about one of my favorite things: chocolate! Did you know that Emmi Swiss Fondue comes in chocolate as well? I grew up having fondue on those rare occasions when my Grandma came to visit or whenever I stayed at her house. In my home fondue was not something my dad like. He was a meat and potatoes kind of guy and lets face it he wanted a full plate of food at one time.
We have fondue parties from time to time because they are fun and give the kids something different to experience. So when I was sent a bag of Emmi Swiss Chocolate Fondue to try out and I will tell you right away I realized this chocolate was different. It is has a very smooth taste and is perfect all by itself if you choose to eat it straight out of the bag.
This chocolate melted very well and didn’t have those lumps that you sometimes get when you melt chocolate. Everyone really enjoyed it and I could not believe all the things they were putting in there. I had laid out fresh fruit (strawberries, bananas, apple slices), marshmallow, and a few pretzels. I saw the kids putting everything from bread to cheese crackers. That just goes to show when something is good you just have to have it.

I have got to find this. Last time we did fondue the chocolate either would burn or it wouldn’t melt. My kids love to do fondue for a special treat.
I was hoping this would be about cheese but it’s ok. But now I kind of want milk…

I should have mentioned they have cheese fondue as well.
I can’t have much chocolate (do to caffeine heart effects) so when I do have a little I’d love it to be a bit better brand to splurge on. We had a fondue chocolate little set and forget we had it. I’d love to check this out…would be nice for special treats like birthdays or our annual Mother’s Day brunch!
I am a chocolate lover so this sounds fabulous. I use to do fondues years ago but it was cheese, never had the chocolate. I know I’d love it

I have never had fondue! Hard to believe I know but true. What better way to start than with chocolate. I don’t have a fondue set so will have to think of something to use in place of one of the long fondue forks. Have heard of this brand, but never gave it much thought before now!
mmmmm I forget about fondue, this sounds very good. I like eating fruit and I’m always trying to find ways to make it feel more like a sweet – this is perfect! And it is festive enough if you have company they’ll feel spoiled! and not too much work besides getting the fruit together!
