If there is one thing the kids like better than candy it’s Mexican candy (yep there’s a difference) and Mexican Candy Box helps them get their full. Mexican Candy Box is a monthly subscription service that, in their own words, is like getting a little piece of the pinata every month.
We received the December Solo box to review and got both sweet and spicy candy to review. I got a total of two pieces of this candy because the kids tore through it. No big surprise there! Usually we get Mexican candy when we go to the store but a few pieces were actually new to me. As you can see the spicy assortment is a few pieces and when I say spicy I mean some of this HOT! Those little Pulparindo candies have chile in them.
The sweet was a pretty good bit as well. The suckers are made with honey and are a favorite of the kids. We give them out on Halloween! My favorite was the Cremino because they are not too rich or too much. They give you just the right amount of sweet to make you happy.
You can order three different sizes of the boxes; Solo ($12/month-which is the small one we got), Amigo ($15/month- which has a few extras than the Solo) or the Familia ($20/month -which has enough for the family and the order I am going to subscribe to.) You can also choose Sweet and Spicy or just Sweet or Spicy.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

I am familiar with some of these, but not all. Didn’t even know that such a box was available. My son and hubs would love that!

I know, I was thrilled when I discovered it.

We have bought some of these at the Mexican store by our house. I need to see if I can find the Pulparindo. My husband would like that. I actually like buying the candy from Mexico because they use real sugar in most of them. Not artificial sweeteners or corn fructose. I will have to look for these or check out ordering a box.
Rita says
We love that about Mexican candy as well.

My parents are from Peru so I haven’t heard of these candies before, but they look delicious! I wonder if this company has other candies from different countries? I will look into it. I would love to surprise my folks with it.

Many of the stores in So Cal have Mexican candies like this. In fact we have many stores that are mainly filled with Hispanic products. I’m sure it is no secret we have a big Hispanic population in So Cal so Hispanic culture and products are quite the norm here.

It’s always fun to find new types of candy. I remember when I was in China, everyone was eating these little jello-like candies. I ended up finding candy with flavors from fruit that I had never even heard of. The spicy Mexican candy sounds good!

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

That Cremino looks wonderful! I think I’d go with the Sweet variety. I’m a little scared of the Spicy assortment! Wimpy American taste buds, I suppose.
