Every Day is a Big Day with Scholastic and Kellogg’s® Frosted Mini Wheats®

Do you have moments with your family everyday? It is something that is so very important and Every Day is a Big Day with Scholastic and Kellogg’s®  Frosted Mini Wheats®   want to help you achieve that with their Every Day is a Big Day program. This is a program that I am so pleased to share with you because not only does it help bring your family closer together you can earn free books from Scholastic.

We are taking part in the program by completing Mini™Missions each month. The missions are easy and fun to do. This month is Conversation Bites which encourages family together time during busy school mornings. The task is to make time to have 5 meaningful breakfast conversations before school. To enter the mission we had to complete fields listing out our 5 breakfast conversation topics and provide a few sentences about the experience and what the shared time did for my family. We can also submit a photo or video if we choose to.

I must say that this was actually really great for us. One of the topics we covered was our separation and I talked with the kids about how they feel about everything. The time allowed them to express their feelings, the fears, and things that we needed to do as parents to make things easier for them. Our problems (even though we are working through them) affected our children and we are working at corrected that.
