My children love to play dress up (well my daughter does) among other things. There are times when she will be wearing a sheet and say she is a princess and the sheet is her robe and sometimes she can make her brother playwith her. I try to find toys that help foster her imagination and Fafu is a company that helps me do just that.
Fafu stands for fair fun and they have a great code of conduct:
- We do not compromise on quality
- We celebrate local crafts and natural materials
- We commit ourselves to protecting the environment
- We pay a fair price to our manufacturing partners
- We work towards improving working conditions
- We are committed to reducing child labor
- We put product safety above all
TESTING Fafu:
We received several different items for the kids to go wild with. They included items such as a Cony(which is a hat), an Andy and Poppy (which are capes sort of), a Silky (which is sort of like handkerchief), and a Handy (which is a cross between hands and feet.) The idea behind each of the products that your children use their imagination and come up with the different ways to wear and use the items. My children had a blast, even Daniel. He loved the idea that he didn’t have to wear the Andy one way. There are several holes where you can stick your arms or feet.Fafu has created an unique brand of toys. One that as a mother I would have no problem purchasing for my children.
PROS of Fafu:
- Fun and innovative
- Inspiring to both children and adults
- EcoMom approved
CONS of Fafu:
- Right now they are only available in the US through EcoMom
One lucky reader will get a set of these great toys for themselves. The set will include a Coney, Poppy,Silky, and Handy
