Family Friday: February 17, 2017

Another week down and I am ready for the weekend! Of course the family raring to go as well even if I’m not sure where it is they are wanting to go. Apparently they want to take a trip or go somewhere and I am left trying to figure out where because when asked all they say is wherever. Oh well…let’s get caught up.

First of all the residents of Shady Pines pulled a mutiny this week. I caught them outside doing yard work. Now that would normally be alright but since they both have arthritis problems it wasn’t a good idea. The next day they complained about all of the pain they were in. They haven’t been much use since they are now down for the count.

Sam and Maggie have been up to the carpet killing again. They decides that their red colored drinks needed to be scrubbed into it. That left me with a beautiful stain that took me two hours to get out of the carpet. It doesn’t happen often but everyone in a while they go crazy and tear stuff up. It’s probably generic and I’m sure it comes from their father’s side.

The older kids have been great, studying hard everyday. They are ready for the school year to be over and I have to tell you that so am I. I am ready for the summer and possibly a vacation. Although I haven’t decided when or where yet.
