Okay today’s choice is not actually a real place however it is believed that it was based on one of two hotels in London. I am a huge Agatha Christie fan and this one of my favorite movies is At Bertram’s Hotel. Miss Marple visits there and of course there is a murder or two.
The reason I chose this particular place is because I would love to go and afternoon tea. There is just something so magical about this place and I would love to visit (if it was real.) I could easily see myself spending a good week there doing nothing but sitting in the sitting room reading or enjoying a nice dinner each evening. It would be a real treat.

I love this idea! My Fantasy Friday place would be on a beach in the Caribbean on a comfy chair sippy a tropical drink watching the ocean waves.
I love this, my Fantasy Friday would be sitting in an outdoor cafe in Holland, vase on the table filled with every colour tulip imageable watching the boats go by, eating their chocolate and cheese 🙂
I want Go there! I don’t remember it from Agatha Christie. But I want to go because it is in London. London is one of my must go to places. We have talked of going but we think we will wait until the kids are older. They want to go also.
With my two kids it would just be magical if my hubby and I could get away for a day. lol. Would love to escape somewhere dreamy. How relaxing huh to daydream.
I had never heard of this movie but then again I don’t think I have ever watched an Agatha Christie movie. I do know what you mean about magical places in movies though.
Major points for this post. I love Agatha Christie and Miss Marple! I really can’t say that I’d want to be in a Christie book, though, even for tea. Too dangerous!
