Get ready for some fun in San Antonio, Texas September 1-2! The weekend is going filled with fun and music Latino style! Mamiverse.com will be attending and there will be some great twitter parties but more on that in a bit. The Festival People En Español will offer two days of free, open to the public events which wll include exclusive Q & A sessions with celebrities and telenovela stars and tips from leading industry experts on everything from fashion to wellness. Some of the musical talent that will be there will be Luis Miguel, Prince Roye, Tito “El Bambino”, Larry Hernandez (no relation), 3BallMTY, Banda Los Recoditos, and my favorite Daddy Yankee.
If you have never heard of those groups that’s okay! I first heard Daddy Yankee when his music was on a television show and just fell in love with it. The show has since been taken off the air but it was so funny because it was my first time attempting to sing along with Latino music and my husband told me he just didn’t think I had the right rhythm for it. That of course has not stopped me and I dance around the kitchen to Daddy Yankee all the time. The kids and I just go wild sometimes and it is on my workout list of music on my iPod.
