Even though I live deep in the south there is one thing I learned the last time I went snow tubing and that is that the sun can be the devil when it hits all that white snow. I have blue eyes which means the sun can be even harsher to them. So when I got the chance to review some ski goggles from FGN I jumped at it.
I will tell you that I wore sunglasses when we were on the mountain that I managed to lose. They were my favorite pair too which is something I do not want a repeat of. I have figured out that there are certain things not worth losing and sunglasses are one of those for me.
The FGN Ski Goggles are for either men or women and are snowmobile compatible. Which I know means something to someone out there but I have never even been on the back of a snowmobile. Right away I put these on because that’s the kind of gal I am and I looked like some sort of future crazy person. you know as opposed to a normal crazy person. Honestly these are great although there do feel a little heavy on my head.
I think that is just something that will go away the longer I wear them. It happens sometimes when I first wear hats and other things. They are easily adjusted using the strap and it took me a little while to get them adjusted just perfectly. There is a double lens so the outside one can be used to protect the eyes. It fits snugly regardless of the person wearing it. I had both Ma and my uncle try them on as well so we could see the different fit. These were great and my hope is that I get plenty of use out of them.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
