One thing I knew would be difficult while I was away would be fitness., I wasn’t staying at a hotel with a gym. At least not yet and I didn’t want to pay for a membership I would use for a few weeks. I could go with my brother to his gym as a guest but he goes late at night. So how in the world was I planning to add fitness into my day. I thought I would get creative.
The one thing I want to do each day is walk. So I scheduled that in for each morning along with the kids. I figured they needed to get outside some. Why, you may ask? Because they will sit in the house and play video games all day or sleep if I allow it. Each morning we will walk for thirty minutes and then I will use my resistance bands. I brought those with me hoping I keep up with my fitness.
I realize that those two things alone won’t keep me fit but I figure they are a start. If I manage to keep up those things when I head home I won’t be out of shape. Who knows, maybe I will even lose a little of weight while I am gone. I am not dieting at all but I eat better when I am with my brother for some reason. It is important to keep busy while I am taking some down-time. Truthfully given half the chance I would most likely sleep for the first week. Good thing there is kids there to force me to get up.
