How many of you love getting flowers? I got some truly beautiful ones not to long ago and I am here to tell you that I don’t get them very often. At least not unless I buy them for myself. Clubs of America sent me some from their Flower of the Month Club which made my day even though I knew they were for a review.
Sounds silly doesn’t it? Before I get into the flowers let me tell you a little about Clubs of America. They began in 1994 and are a family business. They currently have eight different clubs (Flowers, Beer, Pizza, Chocolate, Cigars, Fruit, Wine, and Coffee) for you to choose from and you can mix your clubs if want to.
As I said I received flowers from the Flower of the Month Club. If you subscribe to it every month you will receive a beautiful bouquet of exotic flowers that will make your senses go wild. You have the option of paying for 1,2,3,4,6 or 12 months at a time. One month is $45.95 and for another $15 you can get a vase. All with free shipping!
As you can see my flowers really made my table look beautiful. I had never seen any flowers like the ones I received for. Now I know what you are thinking. How long did they last? Mine lasted a little more than two weeks. They may have lasted longer had our air conditioning not gone out for a week while it was over eighty degrees. After the second day of no air they began to wilt.
The pink flowers were so beautiful and unique to me. The first thing everyone said when they saw them was how beautiful they were. The great thing about the shipment was that it came with a newsletter discussing my flowers. That way I didn’t look like a loon when I said I have no idea what those are or where they came from.
I didn’t have a vase to put them in when they came. I know! I know! What kind of southern woman doesn’t have a vase? In my defense I thought I had one but I did a huge spring clean the week before these arrived and I must have gotten rid of them. I ended up using a glass pitcher that I had on hand. I think it made the flowers look homier.
Getting flowers is something that every woman loves. If I was sending a gift to Ma this would be something I would consider. She could get different flowers each month and brighten her day a bit. Ma has a friend in an assisted living community that we are planning on giving this gift to. She doesn’t get a lot of visitors and we can’t get there as often as Ma would like. This way she knows we are thinking of her every month and she has something pretty to brighten her room up.
Monthly subscriptions like Clubs of America are perfect for seniors in assisted living or nursing homes. As long as the facility allows it. It will give your loved a nice gift they will enjoy each month. It takes very little on your part to make their day better.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

A tea subscription is better than a coffee one since I don’t drink coffee.
