Freshly Picked Moccasins Are So Cute!

Freshly Picked Moccasins

OMG!!! Can you say super cute? I have never seen cuter baby shoes in my life. Freshly Picked moccasins  for babies are simply the cutest things ever. Of course they are more than just cute but I had to list that first. Freshly Picked moccasins are the brain child of Susan Petersen who started making baby moccasins in 2009 after becoming frustrated by the lack of well-designed baby shoes.

She used her, Gus, as a mocc-tester, and a bag of scrap leather she picked up at a yard sale. It took her several designs to get the moccasin that we have now and I love knowing that she started her business with just $200 that she earn from scrap metal windows frames she got from her brother. That is the true spirit of a determined woman! We were lucky enough to receive two pairs (one for each of the twins) and immediately fell in love with them.

The Workmanship

You can either suede or leather moccasins in a variety of colors. Baby girl moccasins look adorable. One thing that I noticed right away was the workmanship of the shoe. As you can see it is course a soft sole but you see no stitching showing on the bottom at all. The leather is of the highest quality and it shows. It feels very smooth to the touch and you can tell that a lot of love and care went into the making.

Blush Moccasins

The Blush Leather Moccasins ones are perfect for a little girl. The color is a light pink but not so light that it washes you out. It is just the right shade I would say. Maggie can wear these with socks or without which is great. As the weather is beginning to get warmer these will most assuredly be our shoes of choice.

Walnut Moccasins

The Walnut Leather Moccasins are perfect for Samuel although Maggie could wear them as well.  That is one of the great things about Freshly Picked is that their mocassins can be either or. It is all up to you and I know that Samuel will look great in these when we do our family pictures soon and everyone at church just loves these!

  3. Oh how cute! My favorite are the Heirloom – Limited Edition Moccasins but they are sold out. My niece is having her first baby in June and I would get her ones that are unisex like the stone, sand or weathered brown. Thanks for a great giveaway!

  12. I just love all the beautiful colors these Moccasins come in. My two favorite colors are the Cherry and the Radiant Orchid and the Aqua…oops that’s three.
