Another week down which means it time for Friday Cocktails and I am more than ready for the weekend. This week has been more than a little bit full. I spent the first couple of days working on fixing some giveaways here on the blog that weren’t showing up for some reason. If you didn’t catch it I extended them and they should all be up and running now.
NOTHING WENT RIGHT
Nothing I did this week seemed to go right. We had a doctor’s appointment on Tuesday at the hospital which was suppose to be a quick in and out. However, thank to that horrid Covid we ended up being there all day. I’m criticizing anyone, I swear. I know it can’t be helped but honestly there has to be a way to get all of this organized better.
There part of the hospital we were suppose to go is now a Covid ward but no one bothered to tell us. So I spent forever it seems getting us to the right place. It would have been nice if there had been a little better direction. I know everyone is doing the best they can and truthfully I would have rescheduled the appointment if at possible. Since Sam hasn’t been out of the hospital that long we needed to keep it.
TAKING A DEEP BREATH
At the end of the day and now the end of this week I am just taking a deep breath and planning on doing nothing this whole weekend. Okay, I will have to cook and do laundry. I mean we seem to have the largest pile of laundry and I have no idea where it came from. Alright, most of it is mine because I apparently forgot to do my own laundry earlier in the week when I was doing everyone else’s. Lets just keep that between us so I can yell at everyone else and feel better about being a loser this week.
WINTER CLEANING
I cleaned out my closet this week though. Everything was just in the way and I needed to get it in some sort of order. I donated four sets of luggage. Why I had so many pieces is beyond me. I am down to the one set for myself since that is all I need. I will check out what the rest of the family has when I attack their closets over the next couple of weeks.
WEEKLY FINDS I LOVE

These cocktails look so good!!! There are aspects to Covid, how it can impact just about anything and everything, that even with anticipation of inconvenience, you have no idea how much it can be. I just had my first shot, and it now seems like light at the end of a still-long tunnel, but I’m guessing by around July here things may begin to get back to (new) normal.
