Friday has rolled around again, which means it is time for Friday Cocktails! Easter is Sunday which means today is Good Friday. Today is actually a religious holiday for me and that means I am not online at all today. I take the day and the weekend for the holiday they are meant to be.
Just what is Good Friday? It’is the Christian holiday that commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary. As a Catholic it means I will be fasting and having no meat at all when I do eat.
There is no celebration of Mass between the Lord’s Supper, which is on Holy Thursday evening, and the Easter Vigil. There are special exemptions granted for rare solemn or grave occasions. The only sacraments that Roman Catholics celebrate during this time are Baptism (which is only for those in danger of death during this time), Penance, and Anointing of the Sick.
I will of course be having Confession today (penance) and that is pretty much it. Thankfully my priest is wonderful enough to come to the house and give me Confession since it is difficult for me to get out of the house. I am so thankful for that.

I had some frustrations this week regarding my daughter’s college application. It’s hard to get someone on the phone the week before a holiday, apparently. Hopefully next week will be different.

I had a super busy week getting ready for Easter think I started too late this year so I have been running around like a crazy woman.
My week has been frustrating. 3 snow storms, to add several centimeters to our already huge snowpiles.
Yet another busy week for me, finishing up the final packing for our move and attending another doctor’s appointment, just for general screening this time.

My week hasn’t been great. Me & my husband got a stomach virus but luckily my kids were up a5 their Mimi’s. We’re better now, but it sucked. Lol I’m just reading & cleaning. I hope your doing well. ❤️

It was a good week. It felt like it went by fast. We got quite a few plants started and that always cheers me up.

I’ve had a bad week. On Wednesday we had a bad storm. Basement flooded (2 feet of water) and I’m still cleaning up.
It was a pretty good week. I got a haircut and then my oil chnged.

My nephew was born last Monday! It’s been a week of babysitting & helping my sister out A LOT! I am tired & slightly sleep deprived but HAPPY! 🙂
I was in San Jose del Cabo Mexico for vacation and it was absolutely heaven!
