It’s Friday again which means it is time for Friday Cocktails! Of course the countdown to Christmas is in full swing as well at the moment. There is so much left to get done and so little time. I am also going through something very personal that I am not yet to talk about. Maybe after the new year when things aren’t so fresh. It seems like everything comes all at one time around here. Maybe we are just do for some chaos. Well, more than the normal chaos.

This week I am taking the time to do some things that I enjoy doing this time of the year such as watching some favorite holiday movies. It’s a Wonderful Life is one more that I watch every year and I plan to do that as well as a couple of others this week.

Getting into The Sipirt

We are all getting into the spirit of the season around here. We are both busy and taking time for the family as we usually do. This is the time of the year that I do so much more. There are holiday markets to visit, holiday shopping, holiday festivals, tree lightings, and so much more. We will make the most of the time we have this year and be grateful that we can get out and about during the holiday season.

3 Thigns I’m Loving Right Now

There are always so many different things that I love at any given moment but right now these three things are at the top of my list. I thought this month I would share a few things that I ordered for gifts or for myself during all of the holiday sales, specials, and deals.

I ordered this H&M Chiffon Maxi Dress for my sister in-law for Christmas. I don’t want to say which one just in case they are reading this. this looked perfect for her to wear not only to work but to church or maybe even a wedding. There is just something so simple and elegant about it. Now, it does say the color is orange but it looks more pink to be. I’m not sure how that will translate when it arrives. In the event, it is super orange or doesn’t look anything like that pink I will make sure to let y’all know.

This plaid Christmas tree shirt is for me. I lost some weight and wanted to show it off a little this holiday season. I will try to remember to post a picture when it comes in either here on the blog or on Instagram so y’all can see how it looks. I just wanted something a little festive without being heavy like a sweater.

Finally, we have Oprah’s favorite warmies heatable slippers for Ma. Her poor feet are always cold and I thought these would be the best way to help keep them warm. You just pop these in the microwave for 90 seconds and then put them. You’ll have warm toasty feet in no time. I’m not sure how they will work but we will giving them a try this year.

  27. Every year, I put up my Christmas decorations on Black Friday, a tradition that I carried on from my parents and grandparents
