December Friday Cocktails - Rita Reviews

It’s the first Friday of the month and not only is it time for Friday Cocktails but it also time to talk about our monthly goals. This is not any sort of month though it is the first month of the Christmas holiday season which means everything takes on a new life. I mean not only it the holidays but also the last month of the year. Time to reflect back and start looking ahead.

Although I admit I am not yet ready to look ahead or reflect. This year was the year that we all began to recover from the very crazy year that was 2020. That is a post for another Friday will possibly something stronger to drink that day.

DECEMBER GOALS

For this month I want to finish the year strong. I am still struggling a bit with a number of things but I am hoping that during December I can find some peace with them. Both in my personal and my professional lives. 2020 was hard for everyone but for me 2021 has been a rollercoaster. More than wonderful at times and then other times it was like a dark cloud had dissented and wouldn’t leave.

Wooden Christmas Decoration: These are simply amazing. I think it is what we will be getting for our tree this year as I am a little late in getting it put up.

Christmas Minis set from “AradiyaToys Minis” Collection: These are super cute as well. I think I want a set of these but I’m not sure where I will put them. They just make me smile so, I will most likely get them.

Baby It’s Cold Outside: I mean is this not just the cutest thing you have ever seen? I love it and the fact that I can put it on the door and then take it back down is perfect for me. Although I do wish it was colder here where I live.

Winter Gnomes: Ma loves gnomes and this is a way to include her love of them with everything else going on during the holidays.

WHO Directional Sign: Okay this is a pdf for printing a large photo booth prop 48 x 20 inch (120 x 50cm). This digital file needs to be printed on 48 x 20 inch foam board, at a commercial printer. They also show how to print it and glue it onto board. I think this would be fun for a Grinch themed party.

  5. Happy Friday! I am behind schedule on my holiday prep this year. I have compiled a gift list on Amazon and started re-organizing and cleaning my apartment so that I can decorate but in years past I would have had my home decorated already and half of my shopping done by now. Aging is not agreeing with me! Lol

  6. This year holiday is going okay. I just got done shopping a bit and I have no clue what to get my 14 year old son because all he does is play games LOL I think this year we are celebrating at our grandpops like we usually do, so I am excited about that it’s been crazy since Covid.

  7. I am getting into the holiday spirit this year slowly but surely. I am starting to decorate and getting some shopping done.

  9. I am getting holiday ready for about 3 weeks. We have to put up our outside decorations early before the ground freezes. I am starting inside decorations.

  11. I am usually at least half way done with gift buying by now but this year I’m way behind. I am just now starting alist of what I need so I need to hurry up

  24. I’ve got the house all decorated and the presents all bought, but I still need to wrap presents.

  26. I am holiday ready for the most part! I could still decorate more if I had more decorations… I love them so much! I still have a few more people to buy for and to gather the ingredients to cook for my hubby’s family’s Christmas party.

  29. We have shopped online & been home over 600 days it will be 2 years March 13,20 since we have stayed home because our children have compromised immune systems as I do as well. We have gone to get shots so far so we are having everything set to loved ones is what we will do. Will put up a tree soon that we have and a wreath over the fireplace.

  31. Holiday crafts and decorating to get things ready for the holidays and to have fun.

  32. We are keeping it pretty low key this year. I tried ordering some things online and they delayed and or cancelled my orders due to lack of workers and inventory.

  35. I am wrapping presents and decorating our mantle with a wreath and ornaments! I am also decorating the tree.

  36. This year I did all of my shopping online.
    It’s so much easier less stress.
    Cards are all sent & presents mostly wrapped.

  37. I’ve got quite a bit of shopping done, I could actually be done now. Yet… my tree isn’t even up yet!

  39. We are getting ready for the holidays! Was wishing for a white Christmas…and boy did we get it! We got 12 inches of snow already today…and still snowing until middle of the night! Getting lots! So pretty out!
