Friday has rolled around again and that means it is time for Friday Cocktails! Hey! Look at this I got two weeks in a row done finally! I know y’all must be excited as i am thrilled about it. Guess what? the entire month of March Friday Cocktails are drafted. I just need to fill in what is is going on and such. I thought that would be the best way to ensure that I got them done.
I have pretty much gotten caught up and a little a head on Rita Reviews. I still have some things that I would like to get done but I am working through them slowly and just taking the time to get things done. I will talk more about all of this in the Monthly Review on Monday.
Cold Snap
I don’t know about y’all but the weather in West Central Georgia has been a bit crazy. This week and over the weekend we are having temperatures that reach 80 degrees. However, come Monday it will be back down into the 30s overnight. I’m gonna be honest and say I’m more than ready for the cold weather to end. I have so many things I want to get outside and do and can’t because of the weather.
I made the remark that after next week it will warm up again and my mother reminded me that Georgia had a blizzard once in the middle of March. We did too and I remember it well. I was in high school at the time and of course it hit on grocery day. I remember my mom and dad went out to get groceries together. Then when they came home we had to unload the car quickly because they both had gotten called into work.
I remember makin hot chocolate for my younger siblings and us just enjoying the day. I also remember it was the first time in what seemed like forever that my parents were both at work because of the snow. At last that late at night. Normally they would work the morning shift or whatever and then be home around four or five. Yet, neither came home to well after midnight.

Happy Friday! It literally just stopped snowing here, we didn’t get much, as with every storm that’s crossed over us this season the snow was mixed with sleet and freezing rain. Bummer!
It is nice and sunny in Southern California.

The weather here is cool and dry.
For us here in south Louisiana, the weather was hot all week and I had pulled all my extra covers off the bed (I don’t have a heater), then started dropping yesterday and I had put them all back on the bed, It is always up, down, up down around here! Have a an extra special hot chocolate cocktail when it get cold, again for you and have a wonderful and productive week!
It has been a little dark and gloomy around here. I’m hoping the sun will come out more.

We had 5 days below freezing with snow. Today it got up to 40 degrees and next week up to 60. Can you say roller coaster weather?

The weather in our area is up and down thought it would rain today it’s like 55-60 during the day.
Its been a horrible winter – bitterly cold and constant snow (we have over 6 feet of it!)

Southern California – it’s 90 one day and in the 40’s the next. We don’t know what to wear day to day LOL
