Friday has rolled around again, which means it is time for Friday Cocktails! It’s the beginning of February and it’s a rainy day here. It is not as cold as it was but it has been raining all week. Most of the time I love the rain but lately I have been hoping it would stop. I have so much I need to get done before next week and the rain is preventing me from getting it taken care of.
There doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the day for all the things I want to get done but I am working through my list. I still have several things here on the blog to fine tune but that will happen in the next couple of weeks as I recover from surgery. I will be down for a week or so and will spend that time taking care of some behind the scenes work and other little things that I put off for far too long.
I have started watching the newest season of Vera on Britbox and enjoying it. I also have started doing some cross stitch as my neurologist wants me to work on my fine motor skills. It looks like a three year old did it so far but I am doing it. I’m hoping it will get better. I did have a whole lot of blood work done this week and some of those results have begun to come back. Some look really good while others look a bit scary.
I have also been trying to enjoy a few foods that I haven’t had in a while like pancakes. I don’t know why I don’t make them as often as I should. I normally save them for special occasions or when we have a lot of company. I love pancakes. They remind me so much of Sundays when I was growing up. When we moved to the first duty station I can remember moving to, we had to stay in a hotel. Every Sunday we would go to this little family restaurant in the town and have pancakes for breakfast after church.

This week was pretty busy. I am ready for the weekend.

My week has been a fast one for sure. I have been doing birthday shopping for my mother and she is kind of hard to shop for but I got a few things that I think she will like.
My week has been kind of blah…, bad news concerning our transportation and really can’t just one thing work right!?!
I’ve been sick all week.
Busy week for me. Trying to pack and clean while still dealing with lingering COVID symptoms is not fun. I am looking forward to the move though.

My week was fine. I got a lot accomplished this week.
We had a stomach bug this week, so it was a bit crazy with 5 sick people in my house. I got a lot of cleaning done today and we finished up our homeschooling for the week. I’m looking to finishing some painting projects this weekend.
It was an okay week although I’ve been a little under the weather.
Hectic with a migraine from hell, but made it through.
It was a pretty uneventful week. I was a little stressed out on Monday but things got better as the week went on.
I was a pretty quiet week it has been super cold here so staying indoors as much as possible.
I’ve had a hard time getting things done this week, too. I also love making pancakes (Alton Brown’s Good Eats recipe lets you make it as a mix and then add the egg, butter, and buttermilk as you go)..,
I spent most of the week training my new puppy. Other than that I was busy at work.
This week was way too long and busy. I am so glad it’s now the weekend. When is President’s Day? I am looking forward to a free day off work!
My week was ok – ended training with my job and got my first paycheck with them.
Good week so far. Our newest grandchild was born a few days ago
The baby shower brunch for my sister was a success! I finally got some reading done over the weekend! Signed up for a couple of February readathons! And sent my sister in Chile a Valentine’s Day present! 🙂
I have SO many deadlines that didn’t get done…but looking forward to all the local Super Bowl hubub going on here!! Deadlines will eventually get done… 🙂
It was a cold week. My kiddos were out of school because of it!

Pretty mundane week. Laundry, dishes, grocery shopping and housework.
