Friday has rolled around again, which means it is time for Friday Cocktails! This week has been pretty full for me. I have been setting up some new systems to help things run a little more smoothly around here. I have also been reevaluating a lot of things I do on both blogs. I have been going through and deciding what works on each one and what doesn’t.

That means you will begin to see a few changes happening on both blogs. The good news is very little will be changing here at Rita Reviews. After careful consideration I decided that most things work well here as of right now. I plan to keep the things that work going and the things that don’t will be leaving. Some of these are just my daily habits behind the scenes. I am attempting to work smarter not harder.

Friday Cocktails Hobby

I am keeping up with my pottery hobby. I can report that it is going…. it’s going y’all. I feel like I suck so bad at this! I can make a bowl but it always ends up more than a little off when I am done. It starts out well but it is a process so I am going to keep going. There is something else I am hoping to try my hand at while we are on vacation.

If I am able to I will make sure I let you know. I am a little excited about it but there is a chance that I won’t get to do it. Another great thing is I am picking the kids up today! I will make sure to let y’all know how that is going next week. We will be spending the whole weekend off the computer doing family things.

  2. Super busy this week trying to get all my seedling plants in the garden and starting a new online class.

  3. I finally made it to the doctor, she ordered a bunch of x-rays and did some lab work but I haven’t heard anything yet. I also made it into the eye doctor and I’ve got to see a specialists about some floaters in the back of my eye and I am waiting on my glasses to come in! Overall, I would say a pretty good week as my daughter is holding pretty well and she has her first iron infusion today! Nobody else had to go to the doctor this week so I was able to stay out of the heat for the most part! Have an amazing TGIF and next week!

  7. Another slow week for me, there were a few highlights though, my son Derek dropped by to introduce me to his new girlfriend and the landlord stopped by to do some repairs around the apartment. There is more to be done though so he will be back next week

  8. Very boring, but the good news is, Downton Abbey A New Era is finally streaming online!

  9. My week was uneventful. I started doing some decluttering in the basement. I tend to save stuff thinking I will eventually use it but I don’t.

  10. My week was pretty fast. I had a lot of running around to do and cringing at the gas prices it is $5.43 a gallon here and rising daily. I am so staying home this weekend.

  12. My week was good. I fell a week and a half ago and hit my shin and it burst open. It wasn’t terribly long but was really deep. The stitches came out this past week and the center tried to open up again and did bleed some so still had to baby the leg. It’s getting better daily so I’m hoping to start walking again in the 95-97 degree heat that a lot of us are experiencing. I saw someone say the price of gas for them. I filled up today and it’s $4.44/Gal here so we are still under what many are paying but still more than I want to pay. Thanks for your posts and I’m looking forward to getting some Tupperware from you. It is such good stuff.

  14. Got the good news that I can go back to the swimming pool after my hip replacement.

  16. My week has been very cold & stormy. Binge watching Stranger Things and eating popcorn.

  17. My week was just awful. I made a financial mistake paying bills and had to use my savings to cover. Then, terrible tooth ache. Tooth so sore and swollen cannot eat. Looking forward to a new week for sure.

  18. Busy week with bringing the kids to their doctor’s appointments and taking our cars in to be serviced.

  25. Not going too bad. I worked an offsite party with my art studio and it was a lot of fun!

  26. Well it’s Tuesday and my week has been same ol same ol so far. Boring and the days are going by way too fast.

  27. It’s already been a long week. It’s been 114 degrees and I’ve had so much work. So happy we’re heading towards the weekend!

  28. Last week was ok. I had a lot of clutter to organize because we decided to simplify. It’s going to be an ongoing project though the summer.

  32. It’s been a busy week at work, but I’m looking forward to taking time this weekend to celebrate Father’s Day with my family.

  33. My week was pretty bad. I was unable to see my doctor or do any grocery shopping due to a bad week financially.
