It’s Friday again and time for Friday Cocktails! My vacation is almost over and I will say I am both happy and sad. Happy because honestly, there is nothing better than sleeping in your own bed. Sad because I would love a longer vacation. not that this one hasn’t been long enough but y’all know what I mean.
Honestly, this week’s post is going to be short and sweet. that way y’all can get to the giveaway down below and I can get back to enjoying my last week or so of vacation time. Not much has been going on at all. I have been just enjoying myself and spending some time with family this week.

My summer is off to a slow start, because I’ve been wrapped up in a cross-country move. I have a lot planned for July and August, though, so I’m excited for the rest of this summer.
My summer has been going great so far! A lot of lazy days, reading, binge-watching my favorite shows and relaxing in general. I finally got into the out there last weekend when my youngest son and his family hosted a Father’s Day bar-be-que and it was awesome to see most of my family and friends there. I am also looking forward to a trip to my Alma Mater next month as I will be accompanying my granddaughter on her tour of the campus and nearby town.
We are very busy with work. Hoping to take a road trip to the mountains of TN but I am not sure.
It has been a wonderful summer so far. Very relaxing and warm!

Great! Haven’t been doing a lot of reading but we’ve been spending a lot of time in the pool. We celebrated my Mom’s 60th bday earlier this week & will be celebrating my nephew’s 5th next week! 🙂
