It’s Friday again and time for Friday Cocktails! I’ve missed the last couple of these because things have been so crazy and busy around here. Things have been busy both personally and in my work life. I have so much going on but I have finally gotten a grip on most of it. I also have some big announcements and more of the rebranding journey to share with y’all very soon as well.
Today we are off to get covid vaccines for the senior citizens and the girly doctor for my mother. Along with a couple of eye glass appointments. Then I am going to attempt to have a nice lunch out but I will end up just getting it to bring home. The reason will be that the senior will yell about catching covid while the kids will be so tired from the appointments that they will be cranky. A girl just can’t win sometimes. Not to mention no one will agree on where to eat. This happened last Thursday as well. After all was said and done I ended up getting some food from a new place and couldn’t even eat when I got home. Everyone else ate though. Some days it’s tough being the mom and caregiver.
NEW KEYBOARDS
I started using a program call Mouse Without Borders with my desktop and laptop. After a day or so I decided I didn’t really like it. It was a great concept in that it allowed me to use one mouse and keyboard for both computers. However, it felt like it had a lag and actually stopped working for two hours one day. I figured it was just time to upgrade my keyboards any way. There is nothing worst than attempting to type and having to try to be quiet because the super old keyboard I had makes a lot of noise and the whole house is asleep. Each keystroke sounds like an atomic bomb going off. I swear it does. So I got two (one for each system) that are quieter when I type. The laptop one came in already (in picture) and I am awaiting the one for my desktop which is scheduled for delivery today.
Gearing up for Easter
Easter is a week and couple of days away and I am gearing up for that. We have Good Friday next week (more on that then) and I have to go get everything for our dinner as well. We have been so busy that I just decided what to make yesterday. Normally I have all of that planned out at the beginning of the month and then just have to pick up some last minute items. This year I just didn’t know what I wanted to make on top of everything else. I do know that I am not making the cake but just buying a small one. It will be easier and I honestly just want the day to go smoother.
WEEKLY FINDS I LOVE
This week we are skipping the weekly finds. I haven’t done a ton of shopping and since I just did a whole post on my Etsy favorites I thought this might be a little too much. So next week we will back with this.
