Friday has rolled around again, which means it is time for Friday Cocktails! It is the last Friday of the month and the beginning of the Memorial Day weekend. I am excited about this weekend as long as the rain holds off. We have plans to barbeque tomorrow. Nothing big. In fact, it will be just the three of us, but we haven’t done anything like that in a while.
I am more than ready for the summer and the break that it will bring. The kids will be back with us soon, and things will feel a little more normal, I hope. Health wise, the seniors and I still have some appointments and there are a couple of surgeries planned. Hopefully, those will go off without a hitch. Honestly, I feel like I have seen every doctor there is to see. I haven’t, but it certainly feels that way. I am sure there are lots of things the kids will want to do as well. I have planned our vacation, and I am certain it will be a good one.
I’ve spent the last week focusing solely on getting ahead. I will be getting the kids soon and we will be taking a vacation. So I have felt the need to get some articles written and scheduled. I spent a day just planning all of my summer content, which really helped. I then took several days to also write some of the content. My plan is to have all of June and July either drafted or scheduled by the first Saturday of June. I just feel that this will help me focus on some of the other things. There are, of course, still plenty of other things to do.
You may have noticed that the look and feel around here has changed. I just did something I wanted to do and went for it. I am more than happy with it and decided not to make a big deal out of it. I do hope that y’all are enjoying it. I also spent two days updating some older posts. I have more than six hundred pages of posts, so it is time-consuming. However, I am now on page 599. I have been working backwards on that since not all of them need to be updated with images and such.

It’s been a busy week, but looking forward to spending time with my family during the holiday weekend.
I had a good week. My family and I were at the beach for our family vacation.
Busy! We just wrapped up our last days for this school year!
This week was slightly more productive for me as U did manage to make a small dent in my spring cleaning project, otherwise it was uneventful as usual
I got my nails done for my birthday trip and worked like crazy.
I enjoyed the nice weather, walking, gardening and cleaning out my garage.
It was a pretty quiet week.
My grandbaby is sick, so it was a little more of a difficult week.
My week is about the same as it has been for a while now, my daughter’s kidneys are looking better, other problems have arisen, her potassium has skyrocketed and now she has to be on a low potassium diet as well as the low sodium (makes meal a bit more troubling) and she now has to go in and have a iron infusions twice a week as well as going in and getting a iron injection once a week! It seems to never end but on the plus side I have scheduled a doctor’s appointment and one with the eye doctor, couldn’t get it worked in until the 6th of June but hopefully I get to keep this one! Have a marvelous week! I hope you have a wonderful time with the kids!

My week was busy. We were finishing up school year activities and working in the garden. We finally got rain today… a lot of it.
It’s been a very busy week.
My week was busy! My mom had an appointment and I had two. I’m raising a doberman as a paid job and had to take him to his weekly class. Plus we have a 5 month old puppy that I’m training. she loves our 10 year old dog who has finally taken a liking to her!
I really enjoyed the warmer weather this week.
I had a lovely roadtrip yesterday, so the week is looking great so far
The weather is starting to get nice so I have been getting my garden ready for planting.
Week has been slow so far.
I helped my son move into his new apartment.

This week is pretty average – no big surprises.
It was my birthday on the 30th of May, so I had a great week! My nieces got me a beautiful plant in a red, white and blue tin watering can.
My week has been a very lazy one. It has been too wet to go out in the garden, hopefully I can tomorrow.
It’s getting better, I’m just getting over a 2 1/2 week illness…ugh…but I am now returning to the land of the living YaY!
I’m bedridden due to a stroke. Boring!
Hectic and busy. This is the week that starts all of our crazy summer social schedule. Either we’re somewhere else or there are stacks of people here at our house. It won’t stop now until September! It’s crazy but we love it!
My week was better than the one before it, so I’ll take that!
