It’s the first Friday of the month and is it time for Friday Cocktails ! I want to talk to y’all this week about fall trends. How many of you rushed out to get the pumpkin spice drink or candles or whatever that comes with the fall? Be honest, I honestly want to know. I admit to doing some of those things. I start switching out my wardrobe with fall colors as soon as I can.
I haven’t tried the fall flavored coffees but I am thinking that is something I will be giving a go this month at some point as well. It could be good or I could end up hating it but either way I will have tried something new. I am a hot tea and hot chocolate kind of gal most of them time. I do splurge on a coffee every once in a while though. Of course on Friday we have wine. 😉
We Did A Thing
One thing I have always wanted to was go to a corn maze. Don’t ask me, it is jus something that I thought would be fun. so that is what we did last weekend. There was so much going on in town that I had a hard time deciding what we would do. We headed to the local diner and had breakfast then went out to the maze. We also got a pumpkin. The kids anted to do the zombie survival thing our state park was doing but I was wiped out after the maze. So, we settled on a bone display the park had.
I will say the maze was fun and while we didn’t get lost it did take us a while to find our way out. The kids kept saying they knew the way only to find they didn’t. We laughed each time we went the wrong way and just enjoyed each other’s company. The one thing I wish I had brought though was a stroller or a wagon. While we don’t need one as often now, when the twins got tired it would have been much nicer to push or pull them rather than to have to take turns holding them. Lesson learned!
